Dhaka-Mymensingh rail link resumed after 6 hrs

Mymensingh: Train communication in the Dhaka-Mymensingh route resumed after six hours of disruption following an accident after a train collided with a truck at Kewatkhali rail crossing on Monday morning.
The train communication resumed at about 12:00pm.
The GRP police officer-in-charge Ahad Ali said Dhaka-bound passenger train Bhawal-56 hit a truck at Kewatkhali rail crossing on Dhaka- Mymensingh Highway at about 6:00am.
The driver and the driver’s assistant of the truck were injured in this incident.
They were sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
A tailback was created in Dhaka-Mymensingh route as some trains got stuck on both side of the rail track.
