Jhenidah: Police arrested the district amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Nur Mohammad, in possession of huge explosives from Agardari in sadar upazila of Satkhira early on Friday, reports UNB.

The Sadar police officer-in-charge Hasan Hafizur Rahman said tipped off, a team of police in a drive in Satkhira sadar upazila arrested Nur Mohammad, believed to be in his fifty, along with huge explosives in the dead of night, said Hasan Hafizur Rahman.

Details of the drive would be available at a press briefing later, added the OC.
