Dhaka: The Law Commission has completed the draft to enact a law to stop the distortion of Liberation War facts, says its Chairman Justice ABM Khairul Haque.

He said this as he met President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Tuesday to submit the Commission’s Annual Report-2015, reported UNB.

During the meeting, the President advised the Commission to help enact time-befitting laws as well as update the existing ones

President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the meeting.

Justice Khairul Haque apprised the President of various aspects of the report.

Abdul Hamid expressed satisfaction over the Commission’s activities.

Law Commission members Justice ATM Fazle Kabir and Dr M Shah Alam and secretaries concerned to the President office were present.
