Dhaka: Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet & Chittagong divisions and regions of Mymensingh and Tangail with hails at isolated places till 6:00pm on Saturday.

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at places over Sylhet division and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

Severe heat wave over Kushtia regions and mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi & the rest parts of Khulna divisions and the regions of Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur and it may continue and spread over the adjacent areas.

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country’s highest temperature, 40.6 degree Celsius, was recorded on Friday in Chuadanga and lowest, 20.9 degree, in Sylhet.
