Bogra: Three people were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Garidah in Sherpur upazila of Bogra on Wednesday night.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Sherpur Fire Service official Sohel Rana said the Sylhet-bound Mamun Paribahan bus from Bogra collided head on with the fodder-laden truck in the area at about 8:45pm, leaving 13 people injured.

Two of the injured died on the way to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital while another succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, he said.
