Dhaka: A four-year-old girl was found slaughtered at a garage at Chhoto Diabari in Dhaka’s Darussalam area early on Thursday, reports UNB.

Shahid Suhrawardi, sub-inspector of Darussalam Police Station, said Khadiza Jannat, daughter of Masum in Chhoto Diabari area, had remained missing since 5:00pm on Wednesday.

Later, police recovered throat-slit body of Khadiza from a garage adjacent to her house at about 2:30am.

Police arrested Masum’s neighbour Ranu Begum and her son Rakib , for their suspected link to the killing.

However, Rakib admitted his involvement in the murder, said the SI.
