Dhaka: The result of the 35th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination was published on the Public Service Commission (PSC) website on Wednesday.

A total of 2,158 examinees have been recommended to be recruited in different posts.

PSC Chairman Mohammad Sadik said, ‘2,158 candidates have been recommended for appointment in different cadres and results of 16 candidates have been kept withheld.’

The PSC published its 35th BCS circular on 23 August 2014. Following the preliminary and written tests, 6,088 candidates took part in the viva voce examination in April last.
