Barisal: ‘Shanta Bahini’ and ‘Alam Bahini’, two pirate gangs active in the Sundarbans, will surrender and hand over their arms to Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Thursday.

Fourteen members of the two gangs along with their 22 firearms will surrender to the Home Minister to return to normal life at about 11:00am, said RAB-8 Deputy commander Major Adnan.

The RAB officials have already completed the surrender process at the complex of RAB-8.

The pirates of the two gangs will surrender to the Home Minister with the help of the elite force.
