Dr. Nurul Haque dies
Dhaka: Doctor Nurul Haque, son of Yad Ali Sarkar, breathed his last in his daughter’s house at Kalabagan in Dhaka on Monday. He was 85.
Nurul Haque’s son Mazhar Babu said his father died at about 5:00pm. His first namaz-e-janaza will be held at his village home at Tengapara at Mohanganj in Netrakona at 10:00am on Tuesday.
Nurul Haque has been suffering from old age complications for long time and he was under treatment at Samarita Hospital in Dhaka.
After his retirement from Bangladesh Army Medical Corps, Nurul Haque went back to his village and dedicated his life in medical services. He established Mohanganj Diagnostic Centre and provided healthcare services to people for about 25 years.
He is survived by his widow, four sons and three daughters. Among his sons, Anwarul Haque is a businessman, Azharul Haque a advertising producer, Mazhar Babu a journalist and assistant film director and Nazmul Haque Bablu an artist. His daughters — Baby, Happy and Poppy — are all housewives.
