Dhaka: Detectives arrested five alleged members of a fraud gang, including two Nigerian, from New Market area in Dhaka on Friday night.

Identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately.

Deputy Commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Masudur Rahman said tipped off, a team of the Detective Branch (DB) conducted a drive in the area and arrested the five people at night.

Details about the drive will be revealed later.
