Kabaddi WC: Bangladesh makes flying start thrashing England

Dhaka: Bangladesh Kabaddi team made a flying start in the 12-team Kabaddi World Cup’2016 outplaying England by 52-18 points in their first match at the state-of-the-art stadium in the Indian city of Ahmedabad Saturday evening.
Hosts India beat South Korea by 34-32 points in the day’s other match.
Earlier, Bangladesh have been placed in Pool A along with defending champions India, South Korea, Australia, England and Argentina while Pool B teams consists of Iran, Thailand, Japan, USA, Poland and Kenya.
In the remaining Pool A matches, Bangladesh will play India on Oct 11 at 9:30pm, South Africa on Oct 13 at 9:30pm, Australia on Oct 17 at 9:30pm and Argentina Oct 19 at 8:30pm
All the matches will be held on round robin league basis and later top two teams from each of the pool will qualify for semi-finals.
