Dhaka: Traffic Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 3,300 cases and collected fines of Tk313,700 in a special drive against traffic rules violators in the capital on Friday, reports UNB.

Besides, 38 vehicles were dumped and 237 other vehicles were put on the wrecker.

Sources at the Traffic department said its members filed cases against vehicles on charge of using hydraulic horn, beacon light, dark-tinted glass, as well as driving on the wrong side of the road.

The drive will continue, the sources added.
