3 burnt in Dhaka gas cylinder blast
Dhaka: At least three people were critically burnt as gas cylinder exploded at a multi storied building in Dhaka’s Gulshan area on Monday morning.
The injured are Sharifa, around 18 years, Bedana, in her twenties, and Parvin, in her late thirties — all of them worked as domestic helps at an apartment of the building.
Rubel, caretaker of the building, said the gas cylinder went off with a big bang at about 7:00am. After hearing a loud blast, local people went to the spot and found the three women severely injured. Later, Rubel took the injured to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
DMCH police post in-charge Sub-inspector Bacchu Mia said three of the injured are in critical condition.
