Dhaka: A court in Dhaka on Saturday granted police two days to quiz two traffic policemen in a case filed for their attempt to snatch valuables from an egg trader, reports UNB.

The remanded policemen are- constables Latifuzzaman and Raziqul, posted in Traffic North Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sharafat Zaman Ansari passed the order after Debraj Chakrabarty, sub-inspector of Shahbagh Police Station, produced them before the court seeking seven days for quizzing them.

Earlier, two traffic policemen were arrested at Karwanbazar in the city on Friday on charge of trying to snatch valuables from an egg trader.

Later, a case was filed against them with Shahbagh Police Station.
