Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday released five commemorative stamps, two first-day covers, two data cards and a souvenir, marking the 46th Victory Day.

The prime minister released those at her official residence Ganobhbaban. A special cancelor was also used.

Bangladesh Post Office issued a Tk 16 denomination Victory Day stamp as well as four other stamps having value of Tk three, seven, 10 and 12 each on the occasion of the 46^th Victory Day.

It also published a souvenir, two first-day covers (Tk 10 each denomination) and two data cards (Tk 5 each).

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Tarana Halim, PMO Secretary Suraiya Begum, Posts and Telecommunications Secretary Md Faizur Rahman Chowdhury and Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim were, among others, present.
