Dhaka: Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from mid night to morning, said a press release of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday morning.

It said weather is likely to remain mainly dry with partly cloudy to cloudy sky over the country. Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Meanwhile, Met office today predicts that moderate to thick fog may reduce surface visibility to 500 m or less at places over the river basins of the country during the morning

It also advised the river vessels to proceed with caution though no signal is to be hoisted.

The sun would set in Dhaka at 5:15pm on Sunday and rise at 6:36am on Monday, the release added.
