Barisal: A worker was killed and two others were injured in a gas cylinder explosion at Bandar in Gaurnadi upazila on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased was Mofazzal Paik.

Witnesses said the gas cylinder went off with a big bang at ‘Murad Steel House’ in the afternoon, leaving three workers, including Mofazzal, injured.

On information, firefighters rushed in and took the injured to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Mofazzal dead.
