Dhaka: Four suspected members of banned militant outfit Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) including its alleged IT chief were held during a raid at a house in east Dholaipar area of Jatrabari in Dhaka early on Wednesday.
Ashfaq-e-Azam alias Apple, the IT (Information Technology) chief of JMB faction, which RAB called the Sarwar-Tamim group, was held during the drive.
RAB Signal and Media Wing assistant Director Mizanur Rahman told NTV Online on Wednesday morning, being tipped off a team of RAB 10 conducted a drive at the house from 4:00am to 7:30am.
Mizanur Rahman, also a superintendent of police, said RAB also recovered arms, bullets and a huge numbers of explosive materials from their possession.
