Indian rupees worth Tk10 lakh found along Benapole border

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 10 lakh Indian rupees from Putkhali border point in Benapole on Saturday morning.
Lieutenant Colonel Arifur Rahman, commanding officer of BGB 21 battalion, said tipped off, a team of the border force conducted a drive in the area around 10:00am, reports UNB.
Sensing presence of the BGB members, some smugglers fled leaving behind a bag.
Later, the BGB members recovered 10 lakh Indian rupees from the bag.
