Benapole: The members of Border Guard Bangladesh(BGB) seized 75 birds of various species from Putkhali here while being smuggled to India on Saturday.

Lieutenant Colonel Khabir Uddin, commanding officer of the 49 BGB Battalion, said on secret information that some birds will be smuggled, a BGB team conducted a drive and seized the birds.

However, the smugglers managed to flee. A case was filed in this connection.
