Sometimes you don't realise you have a fear of heights, until such time as you are up very high — say walking your young son across a glass bridge — as this Chinese father promptly discovered. 

This heartwarming video from Huanqiu.com, shows a tiny boy guiding his petrified father across an elevated glass walkway in China.

An amused onlooker filmed the Chinese toddler trying to drag his father by the arm across the transparent viewing platform.

Glass viewing platforms built hundreds of metres above steep vertical drops have become very popular tourist attractions in China.

The report on Huanqiu.com, an affiliation of People's Daily Online, stated that the father took his three-year-old son to the glass bridge for challenge — but quickly regretted it.

The father can be seen clinging to the rock wall in terror, unable to move, despite his young son’s attempts to drag him across.

'Dad, let's go!' the young boy is heard shouting.

His son yells at him, tells him to move then starts dragging him across the glass bridge, much to the amusement of onlookers who can be heard laughing.
