Natore: The plying of buses on Natore-Bogra route remained suspended for the third consecutive day on Saturday, causing immense sufferings to the passengers.

District Bus Owners’ Association enforced an indefinite strike on Thursday in protest of extortion of money from buses in Singra upazila of Natore.

Sajedul Islam Sagar, general secretary of Natore Bus Owners’ Association, said the movement of buses on the Natore-Bogra route remained suspended from Wednesday night protesting extortion in Singra by the Motor Owners’ Association.
