Dhaka: The main Eid jamaat (congregation) of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Azha will be held at the National Eidgah in the capital at 8:00am.

Senior Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Moulana Muhammad Mizanur Rahman will conduct the congregation while Shaikh-ul-Hadis of Mirpur Jaamea Arabia Moulana Sayed Oahiduzzaman will be the stand by imam.

The decision was taken from an inter-ministerial meeting held at the conference room of the Ministry of Religious Affairs at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman chaired the meeting.

The Eid-ul-Azha will be observed on September 2.
