Dhaka: After ending the third day’s play, Australia were in the driving seat in the first Test against Bangladesh in Mirpur on Tuesday.

That time Australia lost only two wickets and needed 155 runs to win the match.

After the second day’s play almost all the fans of Bangladesh started to think of an unhappy ending.

But Umme Ahmed Shishir, wife of Shakib Al Hasan, was not among them. She strongly believed that Bangladesh can win the match.

During the post-match presentation Shakib remembered the inspiration he got from Shishir and disclosed the fact.

Shakib said, ‘Last night my wife told me, ‘Shakib, only you can do it’. And today, I have really done it.’

Shishir said it to Shakib when he was discussing the match situation with her as that time Bangladesh were in back foot.
