Trump arrives without any official protocol, or red carpet reception. He was taken down from truck not in front of any lavish hotel, but at Shahjahan Colony area in Dhaka on early Thursday. He was followed by Simon, Clinton and Nixon.

You might get puzzled after reading the above mentioned sentences thinking how on earth the president of the most powerful country of the world visits any place in such an unprotected manner. The reality is, cattle trader Mofij Dewan brought a fresh cow to the cattle market in Shahjahanpur. He brought seven more cows naming them after world leaders.

Is there any particular reason behind such naming?

‘This is only for surprising the customers’, Mofij said without concealing anything.

When asked, had he thought of any serious consequences for such ‘surprise’, Mofij humbly said, ‘We just sell cattle. We are not aware of anything. Please pardon me, if I have done anything wrong.’

Though there was no other ‘Donald Trump’ in Shahjahanpur, the bazaar has numbers of with cows named ‘Samrat’ (Emperor), ‘Badshah’ (King) and ‘Raja’.

And guess what? ‘Trump’ is the costliest four-legged creature in the market. The owner has priced it Taka 2.5 lakh (10 lakh = 1 million).

The local people said the consumers of Shahjahanpur bazaar is mainly from the middle class families. The highest prices for cows here range from taka 2 lakh to 3 lakh and lowest prices are taka 30K to 40K. The market will remain open till last night before the Eid-ul-Azha on 2 September.
