Chittagong: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) seriously took the matter of damage to a window of the Australia Cricket Team's bus by throwing a small stone when players returning to the hotel from the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Monday.

The BCB formed a high-power committee with the concerned security agencies to investigate and find out the facts.

No player was injured in the incident, Cricket Australia confirmed. The incident is under investigation while security has been increased on the team's route to the stadium.

Team security personnel are currently in discussion with local authorities while they were investigating the cause, which is believed to have come from a small rock or stone.

The board is also maintaining a constant communication with the management of the Australian Cricket Team and enhanced the security measures on the traveling route of the team.

The Australia Cricket Team has expressed its satisfaction and comfort with the security operation in place and has appreciated the response from the BCB and the local authorities following Monday's incident, said a BCB media release on Tuesday.
