Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in 4th ODI of the five-match series to take 4-0 lead, reports the Indian Express.

Riding on an unbeaten stand of 119 runs for the fourth wicket between Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik, Pakistan won the match in Sharjah.

Chasing a paltry target of 174 against Sri Lanka, Pakistan did face early hiccups only to get reduced to 3/58 before Azam and Malik showed resistance and guided their side to win. Earlier, Sri Lanka after batting first were bundled out for 173 under 44 overs.

Hasan Ali once again showed his ability with the ball and bagged a three-for while the spin duo of Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan picked up a total of four wickets.

Sri Lanka now need to win the last encounter to deny another whitewash defeat of the year against them in ODIs.
