Dhaka: Another victim of Ashulia fire succumbed to his injuries at the Burn Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday morning, taking the death toll to three.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Rab, 28.

Abdur Rab who suffered 88 percent burn injuries died at the hospital around 8:30am, said Sub-Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost, reports the UNB.

Earlier, two victims—Hasina Begum, 40, with 96 percent burns and Arab Ali, 50, with 60 percent burns—succumbed to their injuries early Saturday and Monday night respectively.

Five members of a family suffered burn injuries in a fire caused by leakage in gas pipe line of a two-storey building in Ashulia early Friday.
