Three of a family stabbed in Ashulia

Savar: Three members of a family were stabbed in Dosaid area of Ashulia on Monday night over a family feud.
The injured are – Selina Begum, 40, a readymade garment worker, her son Selim and brother-in-law Sirajul, reports the UNB.
Sheikh Rizaul Haque Dipu, officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station, said Selina’s sister-in-law Amena Begum was making abusive comments about her around 10pm. As Selina protested, Amena and her husband Alamin hit her nose with a brick.
When Selim and Sirajul came to rescue Selina, Amena and Alamin stabbed the three with sharp weapons and fled the scene.
Neighbours rescued the trio and took them to Enam Medical College Hospital.
Police visited the spot on Tuesday morning.
