Dhaka: Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan on Tuesday ordered the railway authorities to improve the services within one month.
The existing services are not satisfactory, he said while visiting the Kamalapur Railway Station in the morning, reports the UNB.
Sujon said the services, including ticket selling and hygiene, must also be improved.
‘I will visit this place again on April 5. You will face actions if the services do not get better,’ he told rail officials.
Replying to a question, he said identity card is compulsory for travelling on the Dhaka-Chattogram route by Sonar Bangla Express. ‘Gradually, it’ll be made mandatory on all rail routes,’ he said.
