Chattogram: The Airport authorities arrested a passenger at Shah Amanat International Airport here on Tuesday morning for carrying 540 Yaba pills and 200 gram hemp.

The arrestee is Jamir Uddin, hailing from Hathazari upazila and a passenger of Abu Dhabi-bound Biman Bangladesh Airlines, reports the UNB.

Wing commander ABM Sarwar-e-Zaman, manager of the airport, said that the drugs were concealed inside Jamir’s shoes in a unique way and those were detected during scanning.
