The University of Development Alternative has arranged a seminar on ‘Strategic Manpower Training and Development: Indispensable for Achieving Organizational Goal’ at its auditorium in Dhanmondi area of Dhaka recently.

Professor Dr. Ahmadullah Miah, Pro-Vice Chancellor inaugurated the seminar as the chief guest. Professor Shahjahan Ahmed Bikash, Chairperson, Faculty of Fine Arts, was present as the special guest,

Assistant Professor of Faculty of Business Administration, Abdullah-Hil Muntakim, the main discussant at the seminar, also moderated the technical session.

Muntakim discussed about ‘The Role of Strategic Leadership’ in the 21st century under Global HR Trends and Organisational Excellence in global context.

Rezaul Hannan, a sub-editor of The Financial Express; Shek Siddiqe, Manager of Four Points Sheraton; SO of HR and Admin Division, Dhaka FM(90.4), Prasad Roy, BBA and MBA Coordinator Mostofa Kamal  and Mahmudual Kabir were present as guest speakers.

Shamima Nasrin Rupa and Ismail Hossian Rahul delivered the welcome speech while Sohel Rana and Riad Hossian Ripon anchored the program. Lutfur Nahar Labony, Sajib Das and Jarfin Sultana also spoke among others. Students and teachers of the university and corporate professionals were also present in the programme.
