Huawei launches smartphones GR5 Mini,Y6II

Dhaka: Huawei, a global ICT solutions provider, launched two smartphone, GR5 Mini and Y6II, for the Bangladeshi market.

The new exciting smartphones are aimed at introducing greater convenience to the lives of the Bangladeshi young generation.

The Huawei GR5 Mini follows up on the huge success of the Huawei GR5 worldwide. Featuring a 5.2” Full HD Display, the elegantly designed GR5 Mini is operated by Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS, and is run by a powerful Hisilicon Kirin 650 16nm 64-bit Octa-Core processor. Main attraction of GR5 Mini is its outlook.

Along with that, second generation fingerprint technology is available in this phone.

To enable capturing high quality photos as well as superb selfies, the phone sports a 13 MP rear and an 8 MP front camera. Fingerprint Sensor 2.0, Huawei’s 2nd generation 360 degree fingerprint technology, greatly enhances the security and privacy of use for users. In terms of memory, the GR5 Mini’s 2 GB RAM is accompanied by a 16 GB ROM, which is expandable up to 128 GB external memory. Moreover, the ultra-powerful 3,000 mAh battery serves 2 days for light users, and 1.3 days for heavy users once fully charged. Available in gold, silver, and grey color options, the Huawei GR5 Mini is priced at BDT 18,490 only.

The newest addition to the Huawei Y-series, the Huawei Y6II comes with a bigger screen size, a better front camera, and a bigger battery size compared to its predecessors. Boasting a 5.5” HD Display, the slick handset is run by Kirin 620 64-bit A53 Octa-Core processor and is operated by Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Huawei’s 4.1 EMUI OS. The storage space is highlighted by a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM which is expandable up to 128 GB.

One of the main features of the phone is its extra-ordinary selfie camera. It has 8 MP front camera for capturing selfies with f2.0 aperture. Capturing high quality photographs is enabled through an 8 MP front and 13 MP rear camera. The 3,000 mAh high-density battery, developed with Huawei’s patented power-saving technology, runs with 30% better power efficiency. Available in Black, Gold, and White color options, the Huawei Y6II is priced at Tk14,990 only.

The Huawei GR5 Mini and the Huawei Y6II is now available in stores across Bangladesh at Huawei Experience Stores in Bashundhara City and Jamuna Park, and other brand shops across Bangladesh.
