Dhaka: The e-document system has been introduced in the Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA) on Sunday.

State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadek inaugurated the system approving a file sent by Senior Secretary of the ministry Kamal Abdul Naser.

Ismat Ara said, due to the e-document system, it will be easier to provide citizen services. Also, transparency and accountability will be ensured in the administration.

Almost 2100 officials of different ministries, departments and directorates have already been trained for using the E-document software, said Ismat Ara.
