Dhaka: Samsung Mobile Bangladesh, in association with Grameenphone Limited, on Monday announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.  

The device represents Samsung’s commitment to the big screen smartphone market, which Samsung boldly pioneered in 2011 with the original Galaxy Note.

The device was unveiled at the event by Yasir Azman, Chief Marketing Officer, Grameenphone and Choon Soo Moon, Managing Director, Samsung Electronics, Bangladesh Branch Office, among others, said a press release.

Speaking on the occasion Yasir Azman, Chief Marketing Officer, Grameenphone said, ‘As the leader in the telecom market in Bangladesh, Grameenphone always strives to provide the best for its customers. We are equally proud that our customers will be the first to get the Note 5 device in their hands.’

Commenting on the Grameenphone’s Internet for All ambition to incorporate 50 million internet users on its network, said the GP CMO adding that Grameenphone has introduced an exclusive data offer with the device so that GP customers can enjoy the best smartphone experience.

‘At Samsung, we believed in the promise that large screen smartphones could actively provide users with a better viewing experience and more productivity on-the-go,’ said Choon Soo Moon, Country Manager, Samsung Electronics Bangladesh.

‘With the launch of the Note5, we’re reemphasising our ongoing commitment to bold, fearless innovation that meets the needs of our consumers.’
