Dhaka: Bangladesh National Football team left for Tajikistan on Friday morning to play the away match of the FIFA World Cup and Asia Cup Qualifiers against Tajikistan at Republican Central Stadium in Dushanbe on 12 November.

Former national footballer Iqbal Hossain is leading the Bangladesh team comprising 23 players and 11 officials as team leader.

In their home match, Bangladesh played to 1-1 draw with Tajikistan at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on 16 June.

Members of Bangladesh Team: Shahidul Alam, Rasel Mahmud and Ashraful Islam Rana (Goalkeepers); Rayhan Hasan, Yeasin Khan, Nasiruddin Chowdhury, Yeamin Ahmed Chowdhury Munna, Nasirul Islam Nasir, Emon Mahmud, Faisal Mahmood, Waly Faisal, and Kesto Kumar Bose (defenders); Masuk Miah Zoni, Sohel Rana, Hemonta Vinsent Biswas, Jamal Bhuiyan, Mamunul Islam Mamun and Shahedul Alam Shahed (midfielders); Abdul Baten Mojumder Komol, Aminur Rahman Sojib, Toklis Ahmed, Shakawat Hossain Rony and Nabib Newaj Jobon (forwards).
