Imrul fifty guides Bangladesh to 241
Dhaka: Opener Imrul Kayes 76-run helped Bangladesh to reach 241 total after losing nine wickets in the second one-day international of three match series against Zimbabwe at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka on Monday.
Imrul Kayes hit his career 11th fifty against Zimbabwe.
Depending on Imrul Kayes's 76, Nasir Hossain 41 and Sabbir Rahman's 33 runs, Bangladesh struggled to reach the total.
Zimbabwe bowler Panyangara grabbed three wickets, Cremer and Muzarabani took two wickets; and Jongwe and Sean Williams took another two crucial wickets of Bangladesh.
Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura won the toss and elected to field first in the match.
Bangladesh lead the three-match series 1-0 thanks to their 145-run win in the first ODI on Saturday.
The hosts made one change, bringing opener Imrul Kayes in place for the world's leading all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan, who flew to the United States to be with his newborn daughter.
Zimbabwe replaced injured wicketkeeper Richmond Mutumbami with Regis Chakbva.
