Dhaka: Rangpur Riders take on Chittagong Vikings at 2:00pm while Dhaka Dynamites play against Comilla Victorians at 6:45pm in the opening day's fixture of 3rd edition Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Twenty20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur, Dhaka on Sunday.  

Private satellite channel 'Channel 9' telecast both the matches live.  

The BPL T20 will host 36 matches till 15 December at the two different venues in Dhaka and Chittagong.

The first phase of the competition will slot in twelve encounters with two matches to be held everyday— one in day and one in night— in Dhaka.

After 12 first phase matches, which will be played in Dhaka, next eight matches will be played in Chittagong's MA Aziz Stadium. The 14 matches of third phase, including the semifinals and final, will back in Dhaka.  

The 25-day extravaganza is set to create an excitement having the world class foreign players in six teams.
