Australia cricket team is set to fly for Bangladesh tour. After some complexities on wage issue, the Australian Cricket Board has confirmed the tour.

The board also appointed former Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin as coaching staff.

Haddin will join the team’s coaching staff for the tour of Bangladesh, the country’s cricket board confirmed.

Bangladesh tour will be Haddin’s first assignment. He will be on this post till 2019.

The Aussie batsman started his coaching carrier in 2015 with Australia A team.

Besides, he played role as an assistant coach of Australia during the tour of New Zealand in January.

He also played role as coach of Islamabad United, a Pakistani professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team of Pakistan Super League.

Reply to a question, Haddin said, ‘I played with Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symonds and other legendary cricketers of Australian team. That time our fielding side was world class. I want to bring that situation back.’

Haddin played 66 Test matches, 126 ODIs, and 34 Twenty20 in his carrier for Australia. He left cricket in 2015.

Australia are expected to come Bangladesh on August 18 for a two-match Test series.

First one will be held in Dhaka on August 27 while on September 4 the other one in Chittagong.
