The usually mild-mannered Lionel Messi’s patience can only be pushed so far as Sergio Ramos found out on Wednesday, the Spanish defender on the receiving end of a verbal tirade from the Argentine as he reacted angrily to Ramos keeping the ball away from him.

With Barcelona 2-0 down at the time and facing a 5-1 aggregate defeat, Messi was not amused by Ramos throwing the ball playfully over his head as he tried to take a quick free-kick, reports Marca.

Fortunately the cameras were right on Messi as this occurred with the forward simply throwing a four syllable retort at his opponent. ‘Motherf**ker,’ he snapped.
