Legendary Bangladesh movie star Abdur Razzak popularly known as ‘Nayak Raz Razzak’ died.

Bangladesh Test cricket team skipper Mushfiqur Rahim posted a condolence message on Facebook: ‘Legendary actor from our country, Abdur Razzak passed away today. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. May the Almighty Allah grant him Jannah. Prayers for his departed soul and condolence for his family.’

Razzak had over 300 appearances in Bengali and Urdu movies. He also directed around sixteen movies.

Razzak won the prestigious National Film Award for seven times for his unique roles in the different films. He is the only actor who has received the Swadhinata Padak (Independence Award), the highest state award given by the government of Bangladesh, in his lifetime.
