Dhaka: Set to resume hostilities in Test cricket after 11 years, the Bangladesh and Australia captains on Saturday unveiled the trophy of their two-match Test series starting on Sunday.

Mushfiguq Rahman of Bangladesh and Stephen Smith of Australuia unveiled the trophy after their appearance in the pre-series press conference on Saturday afternoon at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur.

In the press conference, Mushfiqur said that winning the 1st match will be a great tribute to Tamim and Shakib who will be simultaneously appearing in their 50th Tests .

"We are confident and can expect good result as we have 6-7 fantastic players in team. But the game will not be easy as they (Australians) are a highly professional side," the Tigers captain added.

Smith expects that the series will be a great one and his team's chances of winning are fifty-fifty. "Bangladesh is very confident at the moment after completing their 100th Test," he considered.

Smith wants to play ball by ball and pretty confident to face spin attacks and also that have good chances with their own well set attack.

"I think the key to winning overseas is to ensure that you're adapting consistently and putting those performances on the board consistently," Smith added.
