Australian cricket legend Shane Warne was accused of allegedly hitting a London-based pornstar Valerie Foxx in the face, during a row in a nightclub.

Foxx has registered an official complaint with the police and has also shared photographs of the bruises she suffered on social media.

The 30-year-old Valerie Foxx has shared a photograph of her face on Twitter, describing the former Australian cricketer as a ‘vile creature’. ‘Proud of yourself? Hitting a woman? Vile creature,’ wrote Valerie, reports Hindustan Times.

According to English tabloid The Sun, there were witnesses to the incident that transpired between Shane Warne and Valerie on Friday night at a nightclub in London. The report claimed that Valerie Foxx was seen falling down on the floor ‘clutching her face’.

The local police is said to be investigating the matter and also checking for CCTV footages from the Loulou’s in Mayfair, central London. It was not known yet whether Shane Warne and Valerie met in the club or came together.

In one of her earlier tweets on Friday, Valerie told Shane Warne just because he is famous he cannot ‘get away’.

‘And no, I’m not lying. Just because you’re famous doesn’t mean you can hit women and get away with it,’ she wrote.

Valerie had taken to Twitter posting news of her assault, but never mentioned Warne’s name.

The report added that Valerie’s complaint has been passed on to the Westminster borough command, as a card which she displayed described the police are investigating an ‘assault’.

The Scotland Yard said in a statement, ‘Detectives are investigating an allegation of assault alleged to have taken place in a nightclub on Hertford Street in Westminster in the early hours of Saturday. There have been no arrests and inquiries continue.’

Warne, who has been working in England as a cricket commentator, could face some trouble with his employers following this episode.

In 2000, Warne was removed as Australia’s vice-captain when he was found sexting a British nurse. Five years later, in 2005, Warne parted ways with his wife Simone Callahan, with whom he has three children. His split followed reports of him cheating on his wife.

Simone returned to live with Warne. But, in 2007, when he mistakenly texted her a message which was meant to be sent to another woman, she left the Australian cricketer who had retired by then.

Warne was also engaged to British model Elizabeth Hurley, but split after three years. He was recently linked romantically with the Australian model Emily Sears.
