Bangladesh will have to score 370 runs to win the 3rd and last game of the three-match series against hosts South Africa at Buffalo Park in East London on Sunday to avoid the whitewash.

Batting first after winning the toss, South Africa scored 369/6 in 50 overs riding on three quick half centuries by retired hurt skipper Faf du Plessis, Quinton de Kock and Aiden Markram.

Faf du Plessis retired hurt with 91 off 67 balls, including 10 boundaries and one six, after sharing a partnership of 151 off 19 overs in the 3rd wicket stand which started at 132/2 in 21.1 overs after the departure of Quinton de Kock.

de Kock, who shared 119 off 17.5 overs in the opening stand with Temba Bavuma, was caught and bowled by Mehedi Hasan Miraz who made the 1st breakthrough for Bangladesh dismissing Bavuma who was caught by Liton Kuamr Das.

de Kock scored 73 off 68 balls, including nine boundaries and one six, while debutant Aiden Markram was run on 289/3 in 41 overs completing a half century of 66 off 60 balls with four boundaries and two sixes.

Opener Bavuma fell shot by two runs to hit another half century as he scored 48 off 47 runs, including five boundaries.

Farhaan Behardien (33*) and Kagiso Rabada (23*) remained unbeaten till the end while AB de Villiers added 20 runs before he was caught by skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza off Rubel Hossain on South Africa's 325/4 in 45.1 overs.

Miraz captured two Proteas' top order batsmen -- Bavuma and de Kock -- conceding 59 runs in 10 overs.

Pace bowler Taskin Ahmed found took two for 66 in 7 overs as he trapped lbw debutant Wiaan Mulder and found Andile Phehlukwayo being caught by Mushfiqur Rahim.

Rubel got one wicket for 75 runs in 10 overs.
