Dhaka: Bangladesh will face hosts South Africa in the 2nd T20I of the two-match series at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom on Sunday.

The hapless Tigers will enfold their month-long tour with this match starting at 6:30 pm (Bangladesh time).

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan's men will look to an end of the winless streak on their tour after conceding the Test (0-2) and ODI series (0-3).

Jean-Paul Duminy-led the other camp will take the ground to hand another sweep to the visitors in the series as Bangladesh went down by 20 runs in the 1st T20I in Bloemfontein where Bangladesh put up some fight for the first time in four weeks.

On pursuit of 196 in the 1st T20I, Bangladesh finished on 175/9 with Soumya Sarkar top-scoring 47 and number 7 batsman Mohammad Saifuddin unbeaten 39 runs.

The Tigers needed one of their experienced middle-order batsmen - Shakib, Mushfiqur Rahim, Sabbir Rahman or Mahmudullah Riyad - to take them over the line, but none of them could make it with the continuation of their struggling on this tour against extra pace and the short balls of South Africa.

South Africa's relatively inexperienced bowling attacks did well to maintain a stranglehold on the Bangladesh lineup to set up a formidable total of 195/4 which spurred by Quinton de Kock's fast half-century of 59, and his stand of 79 off 8 overs in the 2nd pair with AB de Villiers, who made a quick-fire 49.

The Tigers have no win record against South Africa in their five T20I encounters since September 2007.

Bangladesh squad: Shakib Al Hasan (captain), Mominul Haque, Soumya Sarkar, Imrul Kayes, Mushfiqur Rahim, Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah Riyad, Liton Kumar Das, Nasir Hossain, Mehedi Hassan Miraz, Rubel Hossain, Shafiul Islam, Taskin Ahmed and Mohammad Saifuddin.

South Africa squad: Jean-Paul Duminy (captain), Hashim Amla, Farhaan Behardien, Quinton de Kock, AB de Villiers, Robbie Frylinck, Beuran Hendricks, David Miller, Mangaliso Mosehle, Dane Paterson, Aaron Phangiso, Andile Phehlukwayo, Dwaine Pretorius and Tabraiz Shamsi.
