Roger Federer wore a kilt in a match against Andy Murray
When Roger Federer and Andy Murray played an exhibition match in Glasgow, Scotland, fans were excited to see two ace players coming together for charity.
The proceeds from the game were donated to UNICEF and a few other organisations in Glasgow, reports the Indian Express.
But, people were also thrilled as it was Murray’s first match since his hip injury at Wimbledon.
However, Federer’s outfit for match made fans all over the world go berserk! The Swiss tennis player wore a kilt and left onlookers in a daze.
After taking the first set by 6-3, Federer said in an interview that if someone brought him a kilt, he’d wear it.
A woman in the crowd promptly delivered, and he continued his game in the traditional Scottish attire.
Rocking the outfit with no qualms, he even defeated his opponent! Halfway through the breaker, the tennis legend also presented Murray with a tartan hat that had a ginger wig attached to it.
Fans were thrilled to see both the players dressing up for the match, and the pictures created quite a frenzy on Twitter.
