BPL: Khulna vs Sylhet match delayed due to rain
Dhaka: The 15th match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) between Khulna Titans and Sylhet Sixers has been delayed due to light rain at Shere Bangla National Stadium in the city on Wednesday.
Sylhet Sixers are currently in third position in the point table with six points from five matches while Khulna Titans are in the fourth slot having four points from the same number of outings.
Khulna Titans majority of the runs can be expected to come from the bats of Rilee Rossouw and Michael Klinger who form the core of the team's top-order batting.
Carlos Brathwaite is a powerful striker of the ball in the lower-middle order and he will be another danger man for the Sixers.
Abu Jayed will spearhead the pace attack for the Titans. He has been amongst the wickets and the Sixers will look to be watchful against him.
Another bowler who is expected to bowl well here is offspinner Akila Dananjaya who bowled a tight spell in the last game against Dhaka Dynamites.
Sylhet Sixers none of their top-order batsmen could score more than 15 in the last game against the Dhaka Dynamites and the team will hope to turn things around with the bat this time.
Upul Tharanga is currently the leading run-scorer of the season with three fifties from five matches and he will be the key man for the Sixers.
While Tim Bresnan and Abul Hasan will be the ones to watch out for in the pace bowling department, left-armer Taijul Islam will be the skipper's go-to man when it comes to spin.
