Chittagong: Bangladesh Under-19 side left-arm pace bowler Qazi Onik dazzled with four-for on his T20 debut for Rajshahi Kings for a 33 runs victory against Chittagong Vikings in the 33rd match of the league at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Cricket Stadium (ZACCS) here on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old Dhaka boy Onik stunned with taking four wickets for economic 17 runs in 3.2 overs that greatly helped Rajshahi restricting Chittagong Viking on 124 for all in 19.2 overs after posting a score of 157 for 6 runs in 20 overs their innings, electing to bat first.

On the way to his four-for, Onik picked up the wickets of Anamul Haque, Stiaan van Zyl, Tanbir Hayder and Sunzamul Islam for Rajshahi Kings the side kept their qualification hopes alive eliminating Chittagong Vikings.

On completion of the 3rd phase of the league at ZACCS, Rajshahi aggregated eight points from 10 outings, just two points behind the 4th slot holders Rangpur Riders the side collected 10 points from nine outings.

Rajshahi lost in four games and have two matches more -- one against Dhaka Dynamites and the other against Chittagong Vikings -- at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) on December 2 and 5 respectively to utilise their chances for last-four berth.

Chittagong Vikings will play the two dead-rubbers against Sylhet Sixers and Rajshahi Kings at SBNCS in Dhaka on December 3 and 5 respectively. Chittagong remained in the bottom of the table with five points from 10 matches registering two wins, seven losses and one no results to exit from race as the first side of the tournament.
