Dhaka: Table toppers Comilla Victorians will need to score 175 runs for a win against the 3rd spot holders Khulna Titans in the 39th match of the 5th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Batting first after winning the toss, Khulna Titans scored174 for 6 in 20 overs spurred with the opening partnership of 55 off 5.6 overs between Michael Klinger and Nazmul Hossain Shanto, reports the UNB.

Shanto was departed from the opening stand with top-scoring 37 off 21 balls, including four boundaries and two sixes, as he was bowled out by pacer Al-Amin Hossain.

Ariful Haque scored 35 off 21 balls, including four boundaries and one six, while Klinger (29 off 28b; 1x4; 1x6), skipper Mahmudullah Riyad (23 off 23b; 1x4; 1x6) and Carlos Brathwaite (22 off 12b; 3x4; 1x6) were the other double digit scorers for Khulna.

Al-Amin captured three wickets for 52 runs in four overs while Solomon Mire and Shoaib Malik took one wicket each for four and 25 runs respectively.

Both Comilla and Khulna are through to the knockouts. A win for Khulna will take them up to second place pushing down Dhaka Dynamites.

It's pretty tight at the top of the table at the moment as the teams vie for a top-two finish. Comilla have 16 points from 10 games while the 2nd-placed Dhaka and the 3rd-placed Khulna are both on 13 points each from 11 games apiece. Rangpur Riders are in the 4th place, just a point behind on 12.
