Dhaka: Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bat first against Sri Lanka in the 4th match of the Tri-nation series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Having an advantage of one win in the seven-match ODI series, Graeme Cremer-led Zimbabweans are taking the ground to confirm the final berth with one match to spare while stand in captain Dinesh Chandimal is leading Sri Lanka for a crucial win to survive in the race for the final.

There is no change in Zimbabwean best eleven while Sri Lankan brought one change with left-arm wrist-spinner Lakshan Sandakan coming in replacing Wanidu Hasaranga.

The Lankans are at risk of being outclassed from the finalists’ race having pointless from two outings as they conceded a huge 163-run defeat in their 2nd game against host Bangladesh the side is leading in the points table with 10 points and confirmed the final berth with two match spare.

Zimbabwe started the tournament campaign with an eight-wicket loss in the opener and found Chandika Hathurusingha’s boys’ for a 12-run victory to collect four points.
